1. Who We Are
KENAI Holdings LLC ("KENAI," "we," "us," or "our") operates kenaigundog.com, docthackery.com, and the KENAI GunDog mobile app. We are based in Riverton, Utah. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our websites, use our app, or purchase our products.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Name, email address, shipping address, and phone number when you place an order or create an account
- Payment information processed securely through Shopify Payments or Bankful — we do not store payment card data
- Email address when you sign up for our waitlist or newsletter
- Communications you send us directly
We also collect information automatically when you visit our sites, including:
- Device type, browser type, IP address, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
- Cookie and tracking data as described in Section 6
2a. The KENAI App
If you use the KENAI GunDog app, we also collect and store the information you put into it:
- Your account — name, email, and the profile details you enter, such as kennel name, home state, and disciplines
- Your dogs — names, breeds, photos, and the health, training, and hunt records you log
- Location — GPS tracks are recorded only while you actively run a tracked session or use live map features. The app does not track your location in the background. Saved map markers and offline map areas are stored with your account
- Content you choose to post to KENAI Nation
App data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, and is private to your account — your logs, markers, and locations are never visible to other users unless you deliberately share them. Map imagery is served by Mapbox and weather by Open-Meteo, which receive the map-tile and forecast requests (approximate coordinates) needed to provide those services. Push notifications are delivered through Expo. You can permanently delete your account and all of its app data from inside the app under Account.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer service communications
- Send marketing emails if you have opted in — you may unsubscribe at any time
- Notify waitlist members of app launch and Wild Game batch availability
- Provide the app's features — conditions reads, maps, records, and community
- Improve our products, website, app, and customer experience
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform provider
- Bankful — our payment processor for CBD products on DocThackery.com
- Klaviyo — our email marketing platform
- Supabase — the app's backend and database provider
- Mapbox and Open-Meteo — map imagery and weather services used by the app
- Shipping carriers — to fulfill and deliver your orders
- Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records are retained for a minimum of seven years for tax and accounting purposes. App data is retained until you delete it or delete your account.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our websites, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant marketing. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
We may use third-party analytics tools including Google Analytics. These tools collect anonymized usage data subject to their own privacy policies. The KENAI app does not contain third-party advertising and does not use your data for advertising.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information — app accounts can be deleted directly in the app
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Children's Privacy
Our websites and app are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All payment data is processed through PCI-compliant payment processors. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our websites or app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
